A Very Inspiring Blogger – Love Thy Introvert – For the introverts…and the extroverts that love us!

Where is the beginning?

What leads you to find a blog and makes you decide to follow it?

The other day I read a post – How to Talk to a Sad Melancholy Introvert –  which inspired a deep and long conversation within me that shifted my perspective. If you don’t know me that won’t mean very much, if you do know me then you’ll know how much that means to me. For most of my life I have been on a quest of self discovery, to understand who I am and why I am who I am. I don’t limit this just to myself, we are all connected and so understanding others plays an important part of my quest. I find others fascinating and…

When I find someone who feels and thinks the same way as me about certain things, such as…

“Knowing your personality is the starting point. It all starts with understanding and embracing yourself. Understand your strengths. Know your weaknesses. Then develop a plan to reach your goals by using your strengths and improving your weaknesses along the way. ” – about Love Thy Introvert

… I get overexcited and feel a spontaneous urge to do something in celebration. If someone inspires you, you should let them know about it as that will inspire them too… to keep doing what they do, being themselves and sharing themselves with others.

I reblogged the post which inspired me and, as I did, I suddenly thought I should give Love Thy Introvert a Very Inspiring Blogger Award nomination…

But how do I do that?

I received a Very Inspiring Blogger Award nomination shortly after I started my WordPress blog. The person who gave it to me had been given it by someone else, and I gave it to others too. But where is the beginning? How do you give a blog award without receiving one? Can I just give one because I feel inspired to do so… that seems logical to me, so I’m just going to do it because Love Thy Introvert definitely deserves it.

As I said to Rae, who is a beautiful blogging soul and Love Thy Introvert‘s creator…

This blog is a superb place for insight and introspective prompts and a wealth of knowledge… Your insight is brilliant and so are your posts, so much mind food for me and that is what I love…

Without further ado…

I am nominating Love Thy Introvert for a Very Inspiring Blog Award…

The rules of receiving the Very Inspiring Blog Award Nomination are:

1. Display the logo on your blog.

2. Link back to the person who nominated you.

3. State 7 things about yourself.

4. Nominate 15 other bloggers for the award.

5. Notify your nominees.

(I found rule #5 the most challenging to my introverted self)

Rae you don’t have to follow the rules or do anything with this award other than accept it as a thank you from me to you.

Thank you Rae for inspiring me!

  1. Wow…I’m speechless. Thank you so much for your words and even this action to take the time out to acknowledge and appreciate my blog. I believe that people don’t have to do anything for you, so I’m very appreciative of you bringing such a positive attention to my site. Thank you again! I will definitely be posting this on my blog! =)

  2. Reblogged this on Love Thy Introvert and commented:
Ursula, one of the followers of this blog, took the time to nominate me for The Very Inspiring Blogger Award. Her words definitely touched me as it’s always great to find out that what you write isn’t going in vain. It’s good to know that people are really getting something out of your writing. I’ve received compliments before and thank yous before, all that I greatly appreciate, but this is definitely by far has stood out from the rest. As I told her in the post, I believe that no one has to do anything for you. So for her as a blogger to take time out of her day to look up, write, and nominate me for this award is amazing to me. Thank you Ursula for everything. It meant a lot to me.

Just to echo something that I don’t know if you all read the side bars of the site, but this blog is more to me than talking about my life and what it’s like. I really wanted with this blog to help people understand themselves. So many people make bad and misguided decisions about careers, friends, relationships, and so on and so forth because they didn’t truly understand their personality or the personalities of others. Even though this site is called “love thy INTROVERT”, I want to encourage and push people to “love EVERYBODY”. Love and understand others no matter their personality, extrovert or introvert, and more than anything, love yourself for who you are and how God created you. When you truly find yourself and embrace yourself, it’s like everything becomes so much clearer about what path you should take. I’ve had that experience in my recent years, and I wished that I had knew way back in high school what I knew today. That’s why I’m doing this blog to share all I know, all I experience, and all that I’m studying because the sooner you understand and embrace yourself, the sooner your world of possibilities is open and be clear for you. Now I am not saying that I know everything about personalities. Much of the information I share is stuff that I studied, and I apply my level of personality knowledge to it to present to you all., So I wouldn’t say I know all at all, but I’m open to sharing every little thing that I’m learning with you!

So with that being said, thank you to Ursula for the award and thank you to all of you that have contacted me in any way whether it was twitter, instagram, or on the site for all your kind and appreciative words. It helps me to realize that I’m doing something right, and I should continue with this site. That the time that I’m creating out of my schedule to keep this site running is a worthy investment because it’s helping and being a blessing to others.

Okay there’s my thank you speech lol I hear the wrap it up music so I’ll end it here. If you wish to see what Ursula wrote pertaining to the blog, go on and take a look at her blog, An Upturned Soul. And while you’re at it, go on and follow. It’s always good to follow other introverts =)
