Let me introduce you to Sadje of Keep It Alive. She is friendly, sociable, and goes out of her way to let people know when she likes their online creations. She has a great blog, writes wonderful posts, is very creative and inspiring, and she loves getting feedback. She’s a beautiful blogging soul!

How has writing affected your life?

As a child, once I learned to read and understand writing, it opened many doors and windows to other worlds, places, ideas, and introduced me to a plethora of interesting people, both real and unreal, whose words, thoughts, opinions and perspectives influenced and inspired me.

As an avid reader I’ve learned a lot through the writing of others.

As a blogger, writing posts has helped me to talk with myself in a new way, become a better listener to what I am saying (which isn’t always in the words, but hidden within the spaces between them). It’s allowed me to make some valuable connections, both on the inside and on the outside. With myself and with others.

Here’s a connection I made yesterday in a comment on a very interesting post – Guest Slot : ‘Unruly Tricksters of the Twelfth House’ by Jude Cowell  – I hope Anne doesn’t mind my screen-shotting and sharing it.

  

  

Do you have any hobbies?

Yes. I love trying to solve puzzles. I find it very relaxing even when it becomes stressful. I prefer the journey of attempting to solve a puzzle more than actually solving the puzzle itself. Although it can be very satisfying to solve it… and then the puzzle becomes – finding a new puzzle to try and solve.

My top two all time favourite video games are all about solving puzzles:

Do you follow the social media?

Yes. Blogs are generally considered to be part of Social Media. I follow blogs, ergo I follow Social Media.

I like to browse the different forms of Social Media because it’s informative, it’s a way of observing what’s going on in collective consciousness and unconsciousness since we’re all a part of the whole.

On a relaxing day, do you prefer to go out to eat or order in?

Neither. My MBTI is INTP, a relaxing day for me means not having to think beyond the moment, not making any plans about anything, not having to remember practical things like eating.

If you were required to learn another language, which one would you choose and why?

If I was ‘required‘ to learn a language, I’d learn the language which I was required to learn since it would be compulsory, essential, and indispensable.

If I was feeling lazy, I’d hope that the required language was Spanish, since I’m fairly fluent in Italian and there are similarities between the two.

If I was feeling up for a challenge, I’d hope it would be Korean or Japanese. And not Russian or Greek because Cyrillic script would play havoc with my dyslexia (and vice versa).

Morning walk/ jog or evening gym?

Stairs. Up and down and up again and down again and… when you’re downstairs what you need is upstairs and when you’re upstairs everything is downstairs… hundreds of times a day every day… even when I had Lumpy the Kneelump (which is almost gone now… almost bye bye, Lumpy!)

  

  

What is your childhood dream that you still want to achieve or have achieved?

Let me think… – that’s what I used to say on a regular basis as a child, mostly to myself but also to others who were pressuring me to make a decision or something along those lines. I just wanted time to think about whatever it was I wanted or needed to think about.

I have not only achieved that but continue to do so because it is a practice requiring practice.

Other than that… hmmmm… let me think about it…
