I can’t think of a thing to say. Ah, wait, false alarm. Phew! You were almost spared the pleasure of another one of my posts. Or something like that.
I thought I’d do three challenges in one. Plus one from me to myself – I’m going to attempt to give straightforward/short answers.
Challenge #1 comes from Melanie of Sparks From a Combustible Mind and her Share Your World 1-28-19

Are you thin or thick skinned? Are you easily offended or tend to let it just roll off your back like a duck does with water?
I am both thin and thick of skin, like my actual skin.
I can get hurt easily. I recover quickly from it.
I can take things personally and remain detached from it at the same time.
It depends on the scenario, the logical course of action, and which part of me is in charge of me at the time.
How important are morals in a healthy society? What are the most important morals for citizens to have?
“The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.”
― Carl Sagan
What will your epitaph be?
Hmmm…
French toast, pancakes or waffles?
Yes. Put the French toast on top of the pancakes on top of the waffles, pour melted butter over it all and flood it with syrup.
What were you grateful for this past week?
That you’re all so cool. Thank you for being you!
Special shout out to:
Rory of A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip
Lynette of In The Net!
The Reverist of Riddles & Reveries
for prompting me, and giving me lots to write about!
Challenge #2 comes from Laura of Lauravent69 and her The “Getting to Know You” Challenge

Name a moment in your life when you felt you were most courageous.
I can’t think of a particular moment. It’s more like lots of little moments made of tiny acts of courage which are only visible and comprehensible to me.
If you had to choose only one breakfast cereal for the rest of your life, which one would it be?
I don’t eat cereal anymore, but when I did I thought that Frosted Flakes were Grrreat!
When have you felt the most scared?
I suffer from anxiety. Being “most scared” happens all the time and can go on for extended periods. I’m much better than I used to be. There are a few intenser than usual moments, but they’re difficult to describe. It’s as though every part of you is stretched to breaking point, screaming, and you long for total annihilation.
The thing which has always struck me as odd is that in genuinely dangerous situations I’m usually deadly calm.
If you could sing like any musical artist, who would you choose?
Jessica Rabbit.
Do you collect anything?
Yes.
If you could live inside a tv show or movie, what would it be?
As a child I used to escape real life via the TV and books because I was stuck in a long-running Soap Opera, trying to figure out how to get out or turn it off.
I never want to go back into fantasyland.
Have you ever had a reoccurring dream? If so, what was it?
Yes. Pink cogs turning.
What’s your Zodiac sign?
Monkey.
And finally…
Challenge #3 comes from Sarah Elizabeth Moore and her Writing Prompt #4

I am truly an expert when it comes to… myself.
I grew up with the sort of people who are convinced, and convince you too, that they know you better than you know yourself, but they don’t know you at all.
Their version of me… inspired me to get to know myself inside out, delve into the shadow, explore the darkness, leave no stone unturned.
There is always something more, new, whatever to learn… if you’re an expert, you know that your expertise is a continually evolving process.
If you think something is set in stone, you’re about to witness stone being shattered.

That’s it…
Over to you!
Ahh. Thats your daemon. Same as Mrs Coulter in the northern lights. Monkey magic!

Oh I’m so glad you think so!! I was worried, everyone would think it was silly. I think I’m going to make it a monthly thing. Change questions each month.

Sounds great! 🙂
The blogging community loves posts with questions… unless you venture into the very serious writers taking themselves too seriously section of the community… and it’s a brilliant way to introduce yourself and your blog to others.
As long as you enjoy doing it, keep doing it 🙂

Thank you 😉 Reading your posts provided me as much writing prompts too!
The monkey is looking thoughtful…hmm…
Your answers to these questions are cool! Especially the first one, I happen to be kinda like that too. My favorite mantra? in the past was ‘It depends…’.

The monkey has been given a peanut, peanuts must be pondered before eating them 😉

Meant to ask last time but forgot… The question on if you collect anything? You said yes.
So what do you collect? Or you simply collect anything? 😉

Haha! I thought I’d gotten away with it 😉 I collect bits and pieces which ‘speak’ to me. I have a lot of random stuff I’ve found on the ground.

Heh. I’m a rat, Chinese astrologically speaking. Rat. If I were a monkey (no offense dear, you’re GREAT and I find you amazing) I’d kill me because I find monkeys creepy overall. Not YOUR monkey though. *sigh* Either you got that compliment (which it was meant as) or you did not. Anyway thanks awfully for Sharing Your World! Great answers to all the questions! 😀

I didn’t like monkeys either until one day I did… probably after I found out my Chinese Zodiac sign 😉

Hi, Sarah 🙂
Gosh, no internet at home. That’s kinda cool! Every now and then we get a powercut where I live and it’s like – What do I do now, I can’t look anything up on Google 😉 It gives you all this time to do all those things you don’t do when you have internet.
