  1. I just found your blog. Looking for ways to help my teenage granddaughter cope with NPD father (divorced with visitation). She is a dancer and I would love to give her a copy of your blog photo An Upturned Soul – Sometimes I climb the walls and lie on the ceiling. I am unable to copy it or find it on line. Could you please let me know how I might get a copy? I would appreciate it very much as I know it is exactly how she feels at times.

    A grateful reader.

  2. I have been on a journey of self help since my early teens,I’ve been to many private and group sessions trying to find my way to good mental health.Less than a decade ago,I was reacquainted with a old childhood associate ,we were never friends we just ran in the same circles and never connected. Since then I have slowly discoverd some truths about myself and this person, your article nails it! After all these years I am finally feeling comfortable in my own skin, after decades of pleasing others and I am amazed at the people who love me that still don’t see how I was being manipulated by these NPD people , don’t get me wrong I’m not focused on them not seeing it although surprised. Most importantly I am free from guilt, and shame I am worthy of attention and love just like the next person, If I’m expressing what I need and can’t get it or people refuse to listen,I just hold my ground and stay on course, flat footed and sometimes with a little fear yet boldly as I can. There is a vengeance with not complying with The NPD system that could very well be awaiting you somewhere down the road on your way to recovery, but that’s the price we must pay for our freedom.

    Thanks For Your Insight !
